If we want our kids to thrive, we have to give them a foundation that’s strong and safe. From early childhood through high school, families in South Carolina are doing their part, but Washington keeps short-changing our classrooms.
Lindsey Graham has voted for budgets that squeeze public schools while handing tax breaks to the wealthy. That means fewer teachers, bigger class sizes, and fewer opportunities for our kids, especially in rural and working-class communities.
I’ll fight to give every child a real shot by working to:
- Invest in modern classrooms, technology, and school safety
- Fully fund public schools and special education
- Expand access to affordable child care and early learning
- Raise pay for teachers and school staff
- Protect and expand free and reduced-price school meals
