Charleston, SC—In a new video, Dr. Annie Andrews blasts U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham for his latest attempt to cash in at taxpayers expense.

Yesterday, the U.S. House voted to strike down a provision that would have allowed Senators to personally profit up to $500,000 from lawsuits tied to the January 6th investigation. The final vote was 426-0. But Senator Graham says he still wants his money. 

Despite the unanimous rebuke, Graham is still digging in. He declared, “I am not backing off. I am not going to take this crap anymore. I am going into court and we’ll see what happens.”

In the video, Dr. Andrews called Senator Graham’s priorities—siding with his own pocketbook over the people of South Carolina.

“He has a lot of power. And what he is choosing to do with that power is steal our taxpayer dollars,” Andrews said. “South Carolina deserves better than a Senator whose behavior is objectively worse than a teenager on their worst day.”
