Campaign surpasses 76,000 contributions in first quarter of 2026, with average donation of $28
Charleston, SC — Dr. Annie Andrews, pediatrician and Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in South Carolina, announced today that her campaign raised $2.14 million in the first quarter of 2026, marking a powerful start to the election year and underscoring the continued strength of her grassroots movement.
The campaign brought in 76,200 individual contributions in Q1, with an average contribution of less than $29, reflecting broad support from working families across South Carolina and the country.
Dr. Annie Andrews Fundraising By The Numbers (Q1 2026):
- Over $2.14 million raised in Q1
- Over $6.18 million raised this cycle
- Over 76,200 contributions
- Average contribution: $28.19
- Zero dollars from corporate PACs
This strong fundraising quarter builds on a wave of momentum for Andrews’ campaign, including a major endorsement from EMILYs List and a new statewide poll from Impact Research showing Senator Lindsey Graham deeply unpopular with voters and the race tightening to a statistical tie once voters learn about both candidates.
“As a pediatrician, I’ve spent my career listening to families who feel like Washington has stopped listening to them,” said Dr. Annie Andrews. “This campaign is powered by those same people — parents trying to make ends meet, workers stretched too thin, folks who just want a fair shot. They’re not writing big checks. They’re chipping in what they can because they’re ready for something different. And I’m so grateful to every single one of them.”
The Impact Research poll highlights the growing vulnerability of Lindsey Graham, with just 34% of voters viewing him favorably and 61% unfavorably, and a majority of South Carolinians saying they want new leadership.
While Graham empties his warchest to fend off primary challengers,, Dr. Annie Andrews has a rapidly expanding grassroots base and enters the second quarter of 2026 with strong momentum and a clear path to victory in one of the most competitive Senate races in the country.
