Charleston, SC — Dr. Annie Andrews, pediatrician and Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in South Carolina, today announced that Bre Spaulding will serve as her Campaign Manager—marking a historic milestone as one of the few Black women ever to lead a major statewide campaign in South Carolina.
Spaulding is a respected strategist with deep roots in South Carolina politics. A veteran of statewide organizing efforts, legislative advocacy, and grassroots mobilization, she brings both strategic expertise and a lifelong commitment to uplifting the voices of communities too often left out of the political process. Among her many recent victories, Spaulding helped elect one of the youngest members of the South Carolina Statehouse, Representative Keishan Scott, who won House District 50 by historic margins.
