Campaign sees fundraising surge following election night win.

Columbia, SC  —  In the 24 hours following her explosive primary win Tuesday night, Dr. Annie Andrews’ campaign announced a one-day fundraising haul of over $200,000. This news comes on the heels of record level Democratic turnout for the 2026 primary election, with over 183,000 votes cast for Annie.

First time donors are leading this burst, with 95% of contributions coming from those who have never before donated to the campaign, according to ActBlue. The campaign saw its largest increase in giving between 12 noon and 1 PM. The average donation through the platform was around $35 dollars.

“Comprising over 5,000 individuals, this high-dollar raise, and the rate at which donors are giving, proves I am a serious contender poised to take Lindsey Graham out in November,” said Dr. Annie.

This broad showing of grassroots support has energized the campaign as they turn focus toward the general election, knowing the path to winning back the Senate could be decided by an upset win by Dr. Annie Andrews.
