Epstein-linked donors appear repeatedly in Graham FEC records
Charleston, SC — Today, Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Annie Andrews called on Senator Lindsey Graham to return campaign contributions from donors with documented ties to Jeffrey Epstein and commit to rejecting similar contributions going forward.
Federal Election Commission records show Graham’s campaign has accepted tens of thousands of dollars from several individuals who have been publicly reported to have connections to Epstein, including Leslie Wexner, Leon Black, John Paulson, and Carl Icahn.
“Jeffrey Epstein ran one of the most horrific abuse and trafficking operations in modern history. The people who enabled him and moved in his financial orbit helped create the conditions that allowed that harm to continue for years,” said Dr. Annie Andrews. “Any campaign money tied to that network is dirty money.”
Andrews is calling on Graham to refund those contributions and donate equivalent funds to organizations supporting survivors of trafficking and abuse.
“Leadership means drawing a line,” Dr. Andrews added. “If Lindsey Graham refuses to return this money, he’s choosing campaign cash over basic decency. South Carolinians deserve a senator who knows the difference.”
